Aloha! Greenroom is an international establishment committed to the celebration of Hawaiian surf culture and lifestyle through collaborations with artists and a series of community centered cultural events. Established in Japan in 2005, Greenroom has gained considerable momentum since its humble beginning as a small group of enthusiasts looking to share their love of surf. In three short years, it has flourished into a thriving organization that includes art galleries and boutiques featuring surf inspired artwork and Asia’s largest surf culture festival attracting hundred ten thousand people to Yokohama annually. Greenroom has expanded into Hawaii, the birthplace of surf, with the islands’ first gallery and boutique dedicated solely to contemporary surf-inspired art since 2010. Featuring original artwork and prints for sale by locally, nationally, and internationally accomplished artists, such as Heather Brown, Clark Little, Nick Kuchar & Tyler Warren. Greenroom also stocks artist & surf-related books, media and accessories. Greenroom aims to set itself apart from other art galleries by working intimately with artists and to provide a platform and creative space for burgeoning local artists and designers to showcase and hone their talents. Greenroom will continually spotlight surf-inspired artists, musicians, and designers as well as a rotating showcase of surf inspired artwork.
